Huawei Sales Up 19% In 2009

Chinese telecom equipment maker Huawei Technologies has published its annual financial report for 2009, stating that its sales worldwide increased by 19% year-on-year to CNY149.1 billion.
The report shows that in 2009 Huawei realized net profit of CNY18.3 billion, its net profit rate was 12.2%, and its operating profit rate was 14.1%.

ZTE, Vodafone Jointly Launch R&D Lab In Germany

Chinese telecommunications equipment maker ZTE Corporation has announced plans to open a research and development lab in the test and innovation center operated by Vodafone's German subsidiary in Dusseldorf to enhance its R&D and test capacity in Europe.
