China's ZTE Gained Net Profit Of CNY3.254 Billion In 2010

Chinese telecom equipment maker ZTE has published its unaudited financial statistics for 2010, stating that its net profit increased by 32.39% year-on-year to CNY3.254 billion during the year.

The company announced that promoted by the increase of sales scale in 2010, its operating revenue reached CNY70.332 billion, a year-on-year increase of 16.69%; its net profit was CNY3.254 billion, a year-on-year increase of 32.39%; and its earnings per share were CNY1.18, a year-on-year increase of 26.88%.

ZTE said that the growth of its gross profit and net profit were mainly because of the sales increase during the reporting period. In addition, it gained investment profit from the listing of Nationz Technologies, an associated enterprise jointly invested by ZTE and China Integrated Circuit Design Group.
