Carbon Trading In China Expected To Become More Important In The Coming Years

Beijing, China (December 18, 2009) /ChinaNewswire.com/ — With a theme of "Emitting China's CDM Potential and Enhancing East-West Carbon Trade", the 3rd Annual Carbon Trade China 2010 will be held by JFPS Group on April 15-16, 2010. The third annual event will focus on the impact on the carbon market from the COP 15 and tailor-make the conference for all the players from the value chain of carbon trading industry.

The summit will focus on these topics: The Impact of 2009 Copenhagen Meeting on Carbon Market; Carbon Market Policy from UNFCCC CDM EB; Carbon Emission Reductions Policy in European Union; China and USA after COP 15, CDM Project Development Potentials in New Areas like Building, Transport and Solar Energy; Carbon finance, CCS, and others.

More than 40 leading professionals from the carbon trading sector will deliver speeches on the Next-step Action after COP 15. Some of them come from UNFCCC EB, China Meteorological Administration, Chinese Academy of Sciences, European Climate Exchange, WWF, Hunan CDM Service Center, Industrial Bank, Longyuan Carbon Asset Management Technology Co., Ltd and Ningxia Antai New Resources Co., Ltd.
