China Unicom Shanghai To Close 10060 Customer Service Hotline

2009-08-12 by ChinaWirelessNews.com Editor | Print | Email Email

China Unicom Shanghai has published a report which states because the integration of its customer service and supporting systems have been completed, the current 10060 customer service hotline will be closed on August 30, 2009.

The 10060 customer service hotline formerly belonged to China Netcom, which was acquired by China Unicom during the telecom industry restructuring in China over the last year.

To maintain the unified image of the company, China Unicom started to integrate its 10010 customer service hotline with the 10060 customer service hotline after the restructuring. On April 1, 2009, China Unicom Shanghai started to use the unified 10010 customer service hotline.

However, to ensure a smooth transition, the 10060 customer service hotline was kept for the fixed line and broadband services during the past few months and will be finally closed on August 30.
