China Mobile Exposes Fake Fetion Websites

China Mobile has exposed 25 websites that reportedly provided false Fetion services to Chinese wireless users.

According to news on Sohu.com, China Mobile reminded users of the Fetion service that it would not make offers to users that they could win prizes by responding to wireless messages. Unfortunately, users have been duped into providing private information by responding to messages sent by illicit operations.

China Mobile said that it had sealed the numbers of those who released the fraudulent information. Meanwhile it stated that it would welcome users to report fraud related to the Fetion service.

The 25 fake websites include: fetiion.com.cn, fx8818.cn, 10000fetion.cn, 139.jiliit.com.cn, 51wydlb.cn, feixin880.cn, feixnqq.cn, fetion.qq38p.cn, fetionfetion2009.cn, qwysa.cn, vbc6.cn, fetin9.cn, fetionq.com.cn, fetiont.com.cn, fetiony.com.cn, 139gj.cn, 5918bqq.cn, 98.tofeixin2009, feitionn.com.cn, fetion98.com.cn, fetionac.com.cn, etiont.com.cn, fetoin.ha.cn, qqhvh.cn and qqrs6.cn.
