2007-07-11 by ChinaWirelessNews.com Editor | Print | Email Email

Following China Telecom's announcement that its executive vice president and executive director Huang Wenlin would leave on July 9 to work at China Mobile and be replaced by Zhang Chenshuang, former executive director and deputy general manager of China Mobile, China Unicom has now announced that the company's executive director Li Jianguo will leave take a post in China Netcom.

Different from the raucous executive changes among China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom in 2004, China Netcom is now involved in the executive exchanges.

Zhang Chenshuang reportedly began to work as a deputy general manager at China Telecom Group Corporation from July 6 and as an executive vice president at China Telecom from July 9.

This top executive exchange is most likely a prelude to major reorganizations oamong the four Chinese telecommunications operators.
