Beijing Mobile Increases GoTone SIM Card Capacity

2006-12-01 by ChinaWirelessNews.com Editor | Print | Email Email

Beijing Mobile, an affiliate of China Mobile, plans to provide free capacity increases on the SIM cards used by GoTone VIP users and those who became GoTone subscribers before the end of 2001.

Users who fall into the above two categories can change with their current SIM card for a new GoTone Brand Special SIM card which has a bigger capacity from now until March 31, 2007.

The new card, which can store 750 telephone numbers and 45 short messages, features a visible brand and client rank and many other tailored information services such as "super" telephone directory and self-help services.

It also has a special international roaming function that will help users choose the best local network when travelling in a foreign country or region.
