AsiaInfo (ASIA) has announced the development of a Customer Management platform for Shanghai Unicom.

Upon completion, this platform will strengthen Shanghai Unicom's ability to meet the combined challenges of user growth and increasing competition in China's telecom market.

"The Customer Management platform will give Shanghai Unicom a deeper understanding of customer needs and enable them to make prompt business decisions and adjustments to their marketing strategy," said Steve Zhang, President and Chief Executive Officer of AsiaInfo.

As an important part of Shanghai Unicom's CRM system, AsiaInfo's Customer Management platform will enable the carrier to effectively manage the entire customer lifecycle including pre-sales, sales, and post sales customer service.
