Following its cooperation with Nokia on TD-SCDMA technologies, Datang Mobile has now reached a consensus with Xi'an Haitian Antenna Company on the development of TD-SCDMA in Xi'an, capital of China's northwestern Shaanxi Province.

The parties have agreed to invest a combined CNY160 million to set up a joint-venture called Jiazai Communications Equipment Co., Ltd in Xi'an to be specially involved in TD-SCDMA in that geographic area.
