China Mobile Unleashes New Gotone Service

2005-11-15 by ChinaWirelessNews.com Editor | Print | Email Email

China Mobile (CHL) has answered the prayers of many of its roaming users with the release this week of a new Gotone service for users to easily access a GSM or GPRS network when they roam.

China Mobile says the service allows new users to apply for China Mobile's Gotone service in a city other than their home base.

Current users can also retain their original mobile phone number while applying for a new one if they choose to stay in a new location for a long period of time. This means a user can have two Gotone numbers at the same time.
